We would like to say a big thank you to the Tipton local service for their kind donation of school uniforms for our kids.
Considering how cold and wet it was on Saturday 22nd Sept at the Tipton canal boat festival, we still managed to raise £132 throughout the day. Thanks to everyone that supported us by donating bottles for our stall and having a go on the day.
Our small charity has had a bit of a reshuffle over the last few months meaning that we have a new branch co-ordinator, Leanne Smith, who is excited to see how she can grow the branch and move it forward.
We also have a number of trustee vacancies that we need to fill in the coming months, keep your eyes open for more details on these.
As well as having trustees to recruit we will also be advertising for new caring and compassionate people to host our amazing children or help with fundraising and activities while the children are with us.
Rachel and two host family members attended this years conference. This was the first time Rachel has attended as group co-ordinator. Rachel commented afterwards by saying "What a lovely bunch of people! Feel honored to be part of it all. And so nice to finally meet all the amazing people who have been helping me all year, by email and on the other end of the phone!"
The bake sale was held at Regus - Solihull on the 13th February between 10am - 4pm. It was hosted by the lovely Quantum team. All Emma's colleagues and family baked to raise much needed funds for FOCC Black Country. Thanks to those who supported us, we raised £278.00.
